Carter Sidelined
Already thin on the D-line. The 49ers received another blow to it this week. DE Andre Carter is Doubtful for the game against New Orleans this Sunday. It has been reported that Carter is having back problems, and still suffering from bulging disks. In the meantime the 49ers signed DE Dennis Johnson of the Arizona Cardinals to help the depth. Recently signed DE Otis Leverette is expected to start opposite John Engelberger.
