Woods Not Going Anywhere

Receiver Rashaun Woods can't for the life of him stay on the field. Last season he injured his groin in training camp and saw limited playing time. Then early into this years training camp he came up lame again. There has been speculation that the 49ers patience was running thin, but his place on the 53-man roster is all but assured according to Nolan. The 49ers are $3.088 million under the league's $85.5 million salary cap. Waiving Woods could cost the team nearly $2.5 million of cap space.
