Nolan Makes Debut
Mike Nolan makes his NFL head-coaching debut Sunday but the person he cites as his biggest influence will not be in attendance.'Dad's not doing so well,' Nolan said Wednesday.
When the 49ers face the St. Louis Rams on Sunday it will signal the official beginning of a new Nolan era. This is the first time in NFL history a father and son have coached the same team on a permanent basis.
