Peterson Upgraded

Linebacker Julian Peterson, who missed one game and most of another because of a hamstring strain, resumed practicing Thursday and was upgraded to probable for the 49ers' game Sunday at Washington.

- Wide receiver Otis Amey, and tackle Patrick Estes both hurt their ankles in practice. They join Jonas Jennings (shoulder), linebacker Saleem Rasheed (knee) and cornerback Ahmed Plummer (foot) on the sidelines Sunday. And wide receiver Arnaz Battle remains doubtful with his knee strain.
