Foolish Mistakes
Self-inflicted wounds were a major topic of conversation late Sunday for the 49ers following another game filled with offensive malfunctions.
The biggest culprits were left tackle Anthony Clement, who had a key holding penalty, and right tackle Kwame Harris, who had repeated false starts and was called once for holding in a 24-6 loss to the New York Giants.
On the road, a noisy crowd sometimes can affect the play of the offensive line. But the 49ers were playing at home Sunday.
