Dorsey Gets the Nod
The makeover of Ken Dorsey began in the off-season with a change in his passing mechanics and a commitment to a more rigorous conditioning program.
He will get his first opportunity to demonstrate the impact of those changes in a game Sunday when he starts at quarterback for the 49ers in place of injured Alex Smith.

'I really feel like it kind of saved my career because it has improved my accuracy on the ball and it has improved my velocity on the ball,' Dorsey said Thursday. 'But none of that matters when you're doing it in practice. It's got to carry over' to Sunday's game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
