Nolan & Staff to Coach Senior Bowl

It's official. Coach Mike Nolan and staff have been picked to coach one of the teams in the Senior Bowl. His staff will go against Jeff Fisher's in the Senior Bowl. With the firings of Dom Capers, Jim Haslett, Norv Turner, Mike Sherman, and Herm Edwards heading towards KC. The spot for Nolan and Co. opened up.
'I think it is only a blessing,' said Nolan. 'I do not look at that as a curse at all. Some coaches do, but I already informed our staff many weeks ago and I said that if we ever have an opportunity to coach that game, we are coaching it. I will pay them back with some time in the off-season where they do not have to travel as much when it becomes time to evaluate guys. But the Senior Bowl is the best way to evaluate players that I have come to know.'
