Day of Mourning
Thomas Herrion, a backup 49ers offensive lineman, had every reason to be pleased with the way he played in the final minutes of the team's exhibition game Saturday night.
He was on the field for the 49ers' final series in their 26-21 loss to the Denver Broncos, a grueling 14-play, 91-yard drive that lasted 2 minutes, 26 seconds of game action.
