McNabb Tosses 5 As Eagles Rout 49ers
Washington Post (registration required): 'The Philadelphia quarterback knew better, of course, on a day when he was simply satisfied to throw four of his five touchdown passes in the first half, two of them to former 49er Terrell Owens, as the Eagles dominated, 42-3, at Lincoln Financial Field.'
Brilliance personified
Trenton Times (registration required): 'McNabb, playing with a sore chest that required a special set of padding, completed 23 of 29 passes for 342 yards with a career-high five touchdowns for a close-to-perfect and career-high 155.4 quarterback rating as the Eagles crushed the 49ers, 42-3, in their home opener at Lincoln Financial Field.'
