Rathman a Candidate for OC
Matt Maiocco of the Santa Rosa Press Democrat is reporting that former 49er Tom Rathman is a candidate to replace recently departed Mike McCarthy as OC.

'Certainly, it would be great to get back in the Bay Area and work for the 49ers,' Rathman said. 'They have a direction they're looking to go. If I fit into that - and I certainly hope that I would with what I believe in - it would be intriguing.'
