Fleck, Cooper to IR
Associated Press is reporting that wide receiver PJ Fleck and defensive end Chris Cooper will be placed in injured reserve. Fleck hurt his left shoulder on the opening kickoff of the 49ers' first preseason game, and his rotator cuff was damaged when he landed on the shoulder while making a diving catch during practice Friday. Cooper, apparently hurt his right shoulder during practice last week.
